October is Database Trial Month at the Library!

October is database trial month for the Network of Alabama Academic Libraries, and the AUM Library is pleased to present several databases for your consideration at our Trial & Test Databases Libguide.

The following databases are on trial this month–

Bentham Science is a science publisher with over 100 peer reviewed journals and over 400 e-books.  Please note that Bentham Science is available only within the library and requires a sign on.  More information is available at the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Library Tower.

Early English Books Online contains digital facsimile page images of virtually every work printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and British North America and works in English printed elsewhere from 1473-1700.

Early European Books traces the history of printing in Europe from its origins through the close of the seventeenth century, offering full-color, high-resolution facsimile images of rare and hard-to-access printed sources

Emerald eJournals Premier is a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary journal database, featuring peer-reviewed, international research in both established and emerging areas of interest. eJournals Premier combines Emerald’s Management Database and Specialist Collections

SAGE Business Researcher features in depth analysis in the fields of business and management. Each report includes short feature articles on related topics, expert views often formatted as pro/con debates, and graphs and charts with downloadable data. Each issue provides context to help students understand the topic and lists scholarly resources to guide further research.

SAGE Business Stats  provides access to more than 3,000 data series from Woods & Poole, including their projections through 2040, as well as data down to the ZIP code level by age, race, household income ranges, employment and employee wages, among other measures.

SAGE Video feature videos created for use across higher education, supporting undergraduate through higher level academic research.  SAGE Video includes collections in: Media, Communication & Cultural Studies, Counseling & Psychotherapy, and Education.
