Dr. Lee Farrow speaks on Alexis in America

The Friends of the AUM Library invite you to a presentation on Tuesday, February 9th, from 12pm – 1pm on the 10th Floor Library Tower, West Room. Dr. Lee Farrow, professor of History and Director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, will give a talk titled “Grand Duke Alexis and the Mythical Origins of Mardi Gras in New Orleans” in support of her recently published book Alexis in America: A Russian Grand Duke’s Tour, 1871-1872.
